Sarcófago was a Brazilian extreme metal band active from 1985 to 2000. Founded in São Paulo by Wagner Lamounier (vocals) and Geraldo Minelli (guitar), the band made a significant contribution to the Brazilian metal scene, while remaining controversial for its aggressive sound and provocative lyrics.
