Udo Lindenberg (1946) è un cantautore, musicista e artista tedesco considerato uno dei più importanti esponenti della musica rock tedesca. Nato a Gronau, in Germania, Lindenberg ha iniziato la sua carriera negli anni '60 come cantante di gruppi blues e rock. Nel 1973 ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, "Udo Lindenberg", che lo ha lanciato sulla scena musicale tedesca.
