Udo Lindenberg (born 1946) is a German singer-songwriter, musician, and artist considered one of the most important figures in German rock music. Born in Gronau, Germany, Lindenberg began his career in the 1960s as a singer in blues and rock bands. In 1973, he released his debut album, "Udo Lindenberg", which launched him onto the German music scene.
