Volen les paraules
als carrers on passaven la vida
burlant-se dels vencedors
i s'enyora d'aquells dies
quan s'amaven sota les cadires
passava la processó
Se'n va amb el vent
la lluna i la poesia (i què diu i què fa?)
Se'n va amb el vent
el cel pintat de colors
Se'n va amb el vent
la màgia alegre i senzilla
d'aquella València antiga
de barri de pescadors
Si poguera tornar
on va començar la vida
si poguera guardar un tros
d'aquell vell amor
vestiria totes les nits
de llum i alegria
per veure-la un últim dia
per sentir-la més a prop
Volen les promeses
als solars on habiten les runes
d'antics consolats d'amor
i recorda com ballaven
sota el cel d'on penjaven estreles
entre llunes de cartró
Se'n va amb el vent
la petita geografia (i què diu i què fa?)
Se'n va amb el vent
les veles de l'horitzó
Se'n va amb el vent
la màgia alegre i senzilla
d'aquella València antiga
de barri de pescadors
Si poguera tornar
on va començar la vida
si poguera guardar un tros
d'aquell vell amor
vestiria totes les nits
de llum i alegria
per veure-la un últim dia
per sentir-la més a prop
