The Courteeners are an English indie rock band formed in Manchester in 2006. The founding members consist of Liam Fray (guitar and vocals), Michael Campbell (drums and backing vocals), Daniel Conan Moores (guitar) and Mark Cuppello (bass). Hailing from the Middleton area, the four musicians have gained a devoted following thanks to their energetic and melodic sound, influenced by bands like The Smiths and Oasis.
