Atomic Rooster è stata una band progressive rock inglese formatasi a metà degli anni '60, composta da ex membri del gruppo di Arthur Brown, Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Vincent Crane, tastierista, è stato l'unico membro costante durante tutta la storia della band e ha scritto la maggior parte dei loro brani. La storia di Atomic Rooster si divide in due periodi principali: gli inizi degli anni '70 e l'inizio degli anni '80. Il genere musicale del gruppo è difficile da definire con precisione, dato che hanno subito cambiamenti radicali in tempi molto brevi.
