Massimo Bubola is an Italian singer-songwriter, writer and record producer born in Rome in 1948. He is best known for his long and fruitful collaboration with Fabrizio De André, with whom he wrote some of the most famous songs of the Genoese singer-songwriter, including «Don Chisciotte» and «La canzone di Marinella». Bubola has also collaborated with other important artists such as Fiorella Mannoia, i Gang, Mauro Pagani and many others. Besides music, Bubola has also dedicated himself to writing, publishing novels, short stories and essays. Among his most notable works are «Il cielo di Roma» (1987) and «La vita in un giorno» (2003). His musical production ranges from Italian songwriting to folk music and electronics. Some of his most representative songs include «L'uomo che amava le stelle», «Il cielo di Roma» and «La vita in un giorno».
