Malecherifarei è il progetto musicale di Michele Maccaferri, fotografo bolognese classe 1985. Dopo una formazione classica e un percorso universitario interrotto per dedicarsi alla fotografia, trascorre cinque anni in Sud America prima di tornare a Bologna nel 2016. È qui che decide di dare spazio alla sua passione per la musica. Il suo album d'esordio omonimo, uscito nel 2020, è un concept album sulla fine di una storia d'amore importante, caratterizzato da un rock senza tempo con influenze elettriche e cantautorali. Il primo singolo, "Sangue nelle Vene", entra in classifica su iTunes, mentre "Altomare" viene incluso in una playlist della serie TV spagnola "La Casa de Papel". Dopo la promozione live interrotta nel 2020 a causa della pandemia, Maccaferri registra il secondo album a Roma nel 2021. Il disco, prodotto da Roberto Guarino, esce con l'etichetta Miraloop nel 2022 con il singolo "Vertigine" come primo estratto.
