Rosie Thomas is an American singer-songwriter originally from Michigan. She began her musical career playing with the band Velour 100, meeting Trey Many through mutual friends. With Velour 100, she recorded an EP and did a few short tours, during which she met Damien Jurado and Pedro the Lion. Subsequently, she moved to Seattle to briefly attend Cornish College but then decided to focus on a solo recording career.
