Spectrum Vates, real name Giacomo Cassará, is an Italian rapper born in Arezzo on October 28, 1999. Growing up during the flourishing era of underground rap and mainstream pop, he is heavily influenced by the musical world around him. His constant search for new paths and the end of his athletic career lead him to focus first on writing, publishing a collection of poems titled "Spectrum Interior" in 2023, followed by the release of independent rap singles. In November 2024, he releases his debut album "EsseVu". As he himself says, "EsseVu" is a summary of his tormented soul, a cathartic album that represented a reckoning with himself, allowing him to bring order to the inner chaos from which he started. Between self-produced singles and collaborations with producers and friends, he continues his journey, identifying his musical style as "Conscious emotional rap", a genre aimed at making the listener reflect on the themes and feelings treated in the lyrics, both positive and negative, without filters or simplifications. The motto of life that pushes him to make music and face every challenge is tattooed on his arm: "Fallen into a dream painting. Courage is the color with which I painted it.".
