Marcello Pieri (Cesena, 1965) è un cantautore italiano noto per la sua musica folk-rock e le sue canzoni introspettive. Inizia la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 incidendo quattro album di inediti tra il 1991 e il 1997, uno dei quali contiene l'hit "Se fai l'amore come cammini". Nel 1993 partecipa al Festival di Sanremo con il brano "Femmina". Oltre alla sua carriera solista, Pieri è anche un autore di successo, collaborando con artisti come Gianna Nannini e Karima. Nel 1997 accompagna Bob Dylan in una tournée italiana, dopo la quale decide di prendersi una pausa dal mondo musicale per dedicarsi alla sua terra. Nonostante questo allontanamento, continua a scrivere canzoni. Nel 2018 torna con il singolo "Se cerchi un eroe... non sono io", seguito da altri singoli come "Sino a quando non ti rivedrò" (2020) e "In Punta Di Piedi" (2020). Nel 2021 celebra i 30 anni di "Se fai l'amore come cammini" con un video originale e pubblica il brano di denuncia "Riso Scondito". Attualmente sta lavorando a nuovi brani per un futuro album.
