Villagers is the musical project of Irish singer-songwriter Conor J. O'Brien, born in Dublin in 1983. His sound is characterized by a blend of folk, indie rock and baroque atmospheres, with introspective lyrics and enveloping melodies. The group, formed in 2008, has released six studio albums: "Becoming a Jackal" (2013), "The Art of Pretending to Swim" (2015), "Darling Arithmetic" (2019), "Fever Dreams" (2021) and "Clinging to a Scheme" (2023).
