Alessia Tondo is an Italian singer-songwriter from Puglia, considered one of the most important voices in the regional music scene. She began singing at a young age, collaborating with the Salento group Mera Menhir alongside her grandmother. At just a few years old, she was launched by Sud Sound System in the song "Le radici ca tieni", starting a collaboration that saw her as a protagonist in concerts and television shows like "Rock Politik" on Rai 1 and "Parla con me" on Rai 3. In 2006, she founded the group Triace, whose album was produced by Elena Ledda and S?ard Music. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with artists of great prestige such as Radiodervish (in the song "Yara" for the album "L'immagine di te"), Michele Lobaccaro (in the song "Donna di frontiera" for the album "Messa Laica", dedicated to Don Tonino Bello), and Ludovico Einaudi, for whom she wrote the lyrics of the famous song "Nuvole bianche". In 2012, she debuted at the 58th International Festival of Contemporary Music of the Biennale di Venezia with the chamber opera "Il Naufragio" by Admir Shkurtaj.
