Alessia Tondo is an Italian singer-songwriter from Puglia, considered one of the most important voices in the regional music scene. She began singing at a young age, collaborating with the Salento group Mera Menhir alongside her grandmother. At just a few years old, she was launched by Sud Sound System in the song "Le radici ca tieni", starting a collaboration that saw her as a protagonist in concerts and television shows like "Rock Politik" on Rai 1 and "Parla con me" on Rai 3. At thirteen, she joined the Orchestra della Notte della Taranta as a soloist, duetting with renowned guests such as Mauro Pagani, Ambrogio Sparagna, Ludovico Einaudi, Goran Bregovic, Giovanni Sollima, Phil Manzanera, Carmen Consoli and Raphael Gualazzi.
