solo perché hai detto no, solo perché sei sparita.
Ma ne è mai valsa la pena di dire a tutti i costi va bene
oppure dici di no, solo perché ti conviene.
Io non voglio annullarmi per nessuno
io voglio vivere al massimo
io voglio andare lontano.
RIT.
Tiziano Finarelli, known as Phebo, was born in Pescara, Italy, in 1978 into a family of musicians. His passion for music began at a young age: he started performing on stage at the age of 12 with an interpretation of «Falco a metà» by Gianluca Grignani, an artist who became his musical reference point. Listening to Grignani's album marked a turning point in his life, pushing him towards pop music, a genre he immediately felt belonged to. At 17, he began his career in tourist villages, first as a sound technician and then as a karaoke host, becoming the youngest animator in Italy. His television appearances led him to develop a talent for impersonations, which complemented his singing. In the 2000s, he toured Italy with a show dedicated to Eros Ramazzotti's songs, embodying the character and becoming his most famous alter ego. He then created a show featuring 26 characters from Italian music, paying homage to artists such as Umberto Tozzi, Zucchero, Rino Gaetano, Ligabue, and Lucio Dalla. Parallel to his career as an impersonator, Phebo cultivated his passion for songwriting. His songs, which tell stories of great social impact, remained in a drawer until he decided to introduce them into his shows. The audience's immediate response encouraged him to take the leap into the world of original music. He chose the stage name Phebo, inspired by the epithet of luminosity and splendor of the god Apollo. In 2020, he released «Cane sciolto», an intense track. In 2021, he published «Sogna anche tu», a song featuring the extraordinary participation of Davide De Marinis, involving the Casa Loro Association in support of people with Down Syndrome or cognitive disabilities. The same piece was awarded Best Social Song in 2022 at the Roma Video Clip festival. Also in 2022, he qualified for the final of the Premio Mia Martini, where he presented «La storia del tempo perduto», finishing third. In 2023, a new collaboration with Roberto Scozzi, known as Anonimo Italiano (platinum album with the song «Anche questa è Vita»), was born, with whom he created the single «Mondiale», scheduled for release on June 23rd.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
