Rosa Balistreri (Palermo, 1927 – Palermo, 2010) was an Italian singer and songwriter of international fame, known especially for her interpretation of traditional Sicilian musical repertoire. Born in Palermo in 1927, Rosa Balistreri began her artistic career in the 1950s, collaborating with important Italian musicians such as Enzo Gragnaniello and Franco Battiato.
