Nel cielo della musica leggera
adesso c'è una nuova stella (stella)
che preannuncia al mondo intero
una carriera sfavillante e che scintilla (brilla)
Andy Warhol l'ha detto già che in futuro ognuno avrà
diritto a un quarto d'ora di celebrità...
Sono una meteora! Di invidia io muoio,
sono già finito nel dimenticatoio.
Il successo mi ha inghiottito,
masticato e risputato giù per terra
sparo l'ultima cartuccia
e ripropongo il Ballo della Mattonella,
anzi della Meteora!
Se la Casa Discografica ha stracciato il mio contratto,
mi rimane la Corrida o un provino con X Factor.
Mi presenterò sul palco,
sotto i riflettori accesi, come il nuovo Nek,
farò il picco degli ascolti,
vincerò persino un Grammy, aumenterò il cachet.
Ma nel cielo della musica

era quella di un artista
che ora va dall'analista e più non brilla (brilla)
