Zita Swoon is a Belgian indie rock group formed in Antwerp in 1993 under the name A Beatband. Their debut EP, "Jintro Travels The Word In A Skirt", marked their entry into the city's music scene. The group, typical of the Antwerp music scene, sees its members involved in numerous other musical projects. Stef Kamil Carlens, singer and founder of the group, is best known for his time in dEUS. The initial lineup included Tom Pintens and Aarich Jespers. Zita Swoon has released several successful albums, including "The Last Time I Saw You" (2001) and "The Sound of the City" (2004). Their sound is characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and a refined indie rock atmosphere.
