Eraserheads was one of the most influential bands in the Philippine music scene of the 1990s and 2000s. Formed in Manila in 1989, the group consisted of Ely Buendia (vocals, guitar), Marcus Adoro (guitar), Buddy Zabala (bass) and Raymund Marasigan (drums). Known for their alternative sound that blended elements of rock, pop and new wave, Eraserheads captivated the Filipino audience with introspective lyrics and catchy melodies. Among their most important albums are *Cutterpillow* (1994), *Carbon Stereoxide* (1997) and *UltraElectroMagneticPop!* (2000).
