We Were Promised Jetpacks è un gruppo indie rock scozzese formatosi ad Edimburgo nel 2006. Il quartetto, composto da Adam Thompson (voce, chitarra), Michael Palmer (chitarra), Sean Smith (basso) e Darren Lackie (batteria), si distingue per un sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, riff energici e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi come l'amore, la perdita e la ricerca di identità.
