man reikëtø kaip paukðèiui nugalëtam þiemos
man taip reikia iðvyst rudeninius medþius
pabraidyti dar kart po geltonus lapus
ir apakintas sniego dar noriu pabût
á jo patalà baltà bejëgis nugriût
að numirsiu vistiek mano laikas ateis
tik dar bûtø smagu susitikt su draugais
pasëdëti per naktá dar bûtø puiku
pamatyti akis artimiausiø þmoniø
prisiminti dar kartà geriausias dienas
padainuoti dar kartà linksmiausias dainas
o valdove mirtie nepaðauk manæs tuoj
að taip noriu iðvysti kas bus rytoj
Linkëjimai nuo Ryèio ið Maþeikiø!
Foje was one of the most successful and best known Lithuanian rock bands. Formed in 1983 at the Antakalnis Secondary School in Vilnius by Andrius Mamontovas, Arnoldas Lukosius and Darius Tarasevicius under the name of "Sunki Muzika" (literally "heavy music"), the group saw the addition of Algis Krisciunas a few months later. In 1984, the name was changed to Foje (literally "foyer"). Throughout its years, the band went through several lineup changes and released more than ten albums. In 1997, Foje disbanded with three sold-out concerts in the Lithuanian cities of Klaipeda, Kaunas and Vilnius, culminating in a final event at Vingis Park in Vilnius on May 17th with an audience of 60,000 people. After the disbandment, the group's leader Andrius Mamontovas launched a successful solo career.
