Closterkeller è una band di gothic metal polacca proveniente da Varsavia. Fondata nel 1988 da Przemyslaw Guryn, Jacek Skirucha e dalla vocalist Anja Orthodox, la band ha attraversato diverse modifiche nella formazione nel corso degli anni, ma ha sempre mantenuto un sound distintivo. Orthodox è l'unica membro della formazione originale a rimanere in gruppo per oltre 20 anni. Closterkeller è considerata una delle pionieristiche del gothic e dell'atmospheric rock in Polonia, influenzata da stili musicali come new wave, cold wave ed heavy metal. Molte altre band polacche, tra cui Delight, Moonlight e Artrosis, hanno dichiarato di essere state influenzate da Closterkeller.
