Els Pets sono una band pop rock catalana formatasi a Barcellona. Il gruppo è guidato da Lluís Gavaldà, cantante, compositore e chitarrista originario di Constanti (Tarragona). La formazione attuale comprende Joan Reig alla batteria, Falin Caceres al basso, Joan-Pau Chaves tastiere, basso e cori, David Muñoz chitarra, cori e Brad Jones basso, chitarra, tastiere e cori. Il nome della band, in catalano "Els Pets", significa letteralmente "I Petti". La loro musica è caratterizzata da un sound pop rock energico con influenze punk e indie, spesso accompagnato da testi ironici e riflessivi che affrontano temi sociali e personali. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "El meu nom és", "No hi ha res" e "L'últim dia". Els Pets hanno pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Els Pets" (1997), "La vida és un joc" (2000) e "Més enllà del cel" (2003).
