Fabiana Cantilo (Buenos Aires, 1959) is an Argentine singer-songwriter and musician. Considered an icon of Argentine rock, she rose to fame in the 1980s with her musical style that blends elements of new wave, punk, and electronic music. Among her most important albums are *Inconsciente Colectivo* (1984), *Algo Mejor* (1986) and *Hija del Rigor* (1989). Cantilo was also a member of the band Los Twist, with whom she collaborated on several musical projects. Some of her most well-known songs include «El Baile de la Locura», «No Me Importa» and «La Vida Es Un Sueño». Her music is characterized by introspective lyrics and catchy melodies that helped define the Argentine music scene of the 1980s.
