Riccardo Enrico Anelli, known as Riky Anelli, is an Italian singer-songwriter and author born in 1981. Besides composing his songs, he also stands out as an arranger, collaborating with artists from various Italian music scenes, including Massimo Priviero (with whom he worked on tracks like “Essenziale” and “Diario di vita”), Arpioni (“Jannacci secondo noi” and “Buona Mista Social Ska Vol. 2”), Pietruccio Montalbetti (“Niente”) and other underground rock, punk, folk, blues, ska and reggae realities. In 2013 he won the Targa Repubblica.it with the song “Svuota Tutto”, ranking as the most listened artist by readers during the final stage of the Premio De André 2013. The following year, in August, he won the Premio Anacapri – Bruno Lauzi – Canzone d’Autore with the song “Una Mattina che Vale”, achieving first place overall and the SIAE Award as “Best Emerging Author”. Anelli has also composed the soundtrack for the documentary film “Ali sull’Acqua”. He currently collaborates with his band The R.E.A. for the creation of new albums.
