Little Willie John, stage name of William Edward John (1937-1968), was an American singer and songwriter of rhythm and blues. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, John began his musical career in the 1950s, quickly becoming a key figure in the R and B scene thanks to his powerful voice and theatrical style. ??
