This and That are Stefano d'Angelo and Francesco Mannella, two young Italian singer-songwriters. The duo, born in Genoa and active since 2023, stands out for its catchy, energetic and innovative musical style, characterized by a bold mix of genres ranging from tradition to contemporary. Francesco and Stefano write, produce, play and sing their songs, tackling everyday themes with original and engaging lyrics. The name of the duo reflects their unique approach to art: "This and That" embody the harmony of contrasts, a concept inspired by the ancient philosophy of Heraclitus. Their official debut took place on January 11, 2024, with the song "This or That", followed by the single "One People" on April 26, accompanying the band on tour in Liguria and Lombardy throughout the summer. The song explores the concept of renewal through respect for musical roots, inviting inclusion and the joy of the moment together. At the end of July 2024, This and That joined the roster of Maledetta Records, immediately starting work on a song to be presented at the Sanremo Giovani selections. On October 4th, "Fast" was released, premiered on September 14th at the Kalemana Festival in Marina di Ravenna. On October 23rd, the duo performed at the Sanremo Giovani 2024 auditions, qualifying as finalists with the song "BELLA BALLA".
