Gasolin' was a Danish rock band from Christianshavn, Copenhagen, formed in 1969 by Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee and Wili Jonsson. The first drummer was the late Bjorn Uglebjerg, replaced by Soren Berlev in 1971. Initially, Franz Beckerlee's guitar style was inspired by Jimi Hendrix, while Kim Larsen's vocals and lyrics drew inspiration from Bob Dylan. Jonsson and Berlev's rhythm owed much to The Beatles.
