(Testo e musica di Andrea Lupi)
Hai preso la chitarra in mano
Quella che ti piaceva tanto
L’hai presa e l’hai riposta in un armadio
La stessa cosa hai fatto con me
Progetti, ambizioni, sogni, cazzate
Da lasciare andare o ricordare
Una casa piena a metà
Che senso ha?
Sei volata su quell’aeroplano
Dritto in città
E questa sera voglio stare solo,
anche domani
Non mi importa niente di nessuno
In questa notte un po’ miope un po’ strabica
Non ti vedo più
E non ha senso se a dimenticare
Sei solo tu
Avevo quasi il mondo da afferrare
Ma ad un metro dal traguardo
Cado giù, cado giù, cado giù, cado giù
Ogni tanto vado in tintoria
Quella dove andavi sempre tu
A portare i vestiti che macchiavi di vino
Ma non ti ci ho trovata più
Quante storie strappate senza un finale
Almeno non con quello che speravo io
Catene di giorni e momenti
Troncate a metà
Ti ho vista su quell’aeroplano
Andare in città
E questa sera voglio stare solo,
anche domani
Non mi importa niente di nessuno
In questa notte un po’ miope un po’ strabica
Non ti vedo più
E non ha senso se a dimenticare
Sei solo tu
Avevo quasi il mondo da afferrare
Ma ad un metro dal traguardo
Cado giù, cado giù, cado giù, cado giù
Mi devo fermare, perché non so stare
In questo universo creato da te
È rimasto solo un ologramma
È rimasto solo un anagramma
Del tuo nome, della tua esistenza
In questo tempo che sparisce in fretta
Vorrei solo sapere
Se stavi bene o no
O no, o no, o no
E questa sera voglio stare solo,
Anche domani
Non mi importa niente di nessuno
In questa notte un po’ miope un po’ strabica
Non ti vedo più
E non ha senso se a dimenticare
Sei solo tu
Avevo quasi il mondo da afferrare
Ma ad un metro dal traguardo
Cado giù, cado giù, cado giù, cado giù
Andrea Lupi is a Roman singer-songwriter. His passion for music began at a young age with the clarinet, but he soon dedicated himself to the keyboard and above all to singing. After collaborating with the NoiseBusters, a band of which he was frontman and co-author, he released two albums and a single, reaching the national final of the Cantagiro 2015. His live experience led him to perform in Roman and national venues such as Stazione Birra, Blackout and Zona Roveri. During the lockdown period, he created covers of successful songs like "Eleanor Rigby" by The Beatles and "Stupendo" by Vasco Rossi. Currently, he is focusing on his solo project with the first single "Frequentazioni migliori", scheduled for release on March 19th on Spotify and all digital stores.

Do we want to define "I know you know me" a masterpiece? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt for at least two reasons. The first and most evident are the artists who interpret it: Caroline Spence and Matt Berninger, second for the deep and poetic text.
My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
