Strife is a hardcore punk band formed in 1991 in San Diego, California. The band has released several successful albums, including *Angermeans*, *In This Defiance*, *One Truth* and *Truth Through Defiance*. Their sound is characterized by fast riffs, political lyrics and intense energy that have made them one of the most influential bands in the hardcore genre. Strife disbanded in 2003 but reunited in 2016 with the album *Back to Thunder*. Some of Strife's most representative songs include "The Price of Freedom", "One Truth" and "In This Defiance".
