Biografia

Niko, whose real name is Nicola Lattanzio, is an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Rieti in 1986. Growing up with music as a constant companion, he discovered his passion for it through car trips singing along to the Italian hits of the 1980s and private classical guitar lessons. At just twelve years old, he joined the Giovanni Pascoli choir in his city, where he played the guitar and began performing publicly. In 2000, he embarked on a vocal training journey with Lorena Scaccia (Nora Orlandi method), also deepening his diction and stage presence. Two years later, he made his debut as a singer at the "Natale in Musica" charity event, captivating the audience's attention. This marked the beginning of a path filled with rehearsals, songwriting, and concerts in Lazio venues. From 2004 to 2006, he returned to "Natale in Musica", but felt the need to give voice to his emotions by writing his first original songs. Meanwhile, he studied piano, theory, and harmony at the Nuova Accademia Musica e Spettacolo di Rieti and began collaborating with Luca Vincenti Mareri Tosoni, who would later help him produce his debut album. In 2009, he composed a song for children attached to a book, while in 2011, with "Le storie di Panfilo", he entered the national radio circuit. In 2012, he collaborated with producer Walter Babbini and recorded his debut EP at Revolver Studios in Guidonia, where musicians of national fame played. In 2015, he won the "Best Stage Presence Award" at Sonic Factory, and in 2025, with the single "Anime Perse", he inaugurated a new chapter in his artistic journey. A return that is both intimate and necessary, capable of touching and traversing the present with delicacy, leaving space for silence and the questions that often remain unanswered.
