Bruce Randall Hornsby (Williamsburg, Virginia, 1954) is an American musician of international fame, known for his versatility as a keyboardist, pianist, singer and composer. He began to gain recognition in the 1980s with his group Bruce Hornsby and the Range, achieving immediate success with songs like "The Way It Is" and "Mandolin Rain".
