X-Ecutioners are an American hip hop DJ group formed in New York City in 1989. Composed of Roc Raida, Mista Sinista, and Total Eclipse, the trio is considered among the best in the world for their scratch and beat juggling techniques. They were one of the first all-DJ groups to sign with a record label (BMG) and release an album. Their debut, "X-Ecutioners", came out in 1997 and cemented them as pioneers of turntablism. They collaborated with artists like Nas, The Roots, and Fat Joe. Some of their most representative tracks are "The Humpty Dance", "Rock It", and "What's Up Doc?", which helped define the sound of hip hop in the 1990s.
