Back to dungaree high

I didn't mean to turn you on
No way
Just wanna dance and sing my song
Oh, well, okay
Clocking in, clocking out
No I don't mind it at all
Me and the danger dudes
Were on the news
So just don't bother to call
Because

It's just a way to stay alive, boy
It's such a trip just to survive
So it's back, back to Dungaree high
Just to get by, back to Dungaree high
Just a great big boy
And a teeny-weeny alibi
Just a soul on ice
With a mirror and a blade
And a pocket full of ice
Cheap thrills done and the dirt cheap ants
'Cause I got a headache in my pants
Because

It's just a way to stay alive, boy
It's such a trip just to survive
So it's back, back to Dungaree high
Just a great big boy
With a teeny-weeny alibi

"Is that rock enough?"

It's just a way to stay alive, boy
It's such a trip just to survive, boy
Back to Dungaree high

Biografia

Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) are an American hard rock band formed in Palm Desert, California, in the mid-1990s. Founded by guitarist and singer Josh Homme, former member of the cult stoner-rock band Kyuss, QOTSA is considered one of the most influential bands of the 21st century. Homme is the only founding member still in the current lineup. The music of Queens of the Stone Age is characterized by a heavy sound and powerful guitar riffs, with influences from psychedelic rock, proto-metal, and desert rock. Among the most representative songs are "No One Knows", "Go With The Flow" and "Song for the Dead". Their self-titled debut album (1998) marked the beginning of a successful career, with albums like "Rated R" (2000), "Songs for the Deaf" (2002) and "Lullabies to Paralyze" (2005) that cemented their position in the international music scene. QOTSA is known for collaborations with artists from various musical genres, including Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Mark Lanegan and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
