Sandwich is a Filipino rock band formed in 1995 by Raimund Marasigan and Diego Castillo, who desired to work together. Castillo recruited Mike Dizon (former member of The Teeth) on drums and Myrene Academia (former member of Imago) on bass. Raimund Marasigan discovered Marc Abaya during a contest where he was performing with his band Shirley Beans, and invited him to sing. Later, the vocalist was replaced by Mong Alcaraz of Chicosci. Sandwich is known for its alternative rock sound influenced by punk and indie music. Some of their most representative songs include 'Ewan', 'Disco' and 'Apat'.
