James Yoshinobu Iha is an American guitarist and musician, born in Chicago in 1965. Best known for being the rhythm guitarist of The Smashing Pumpkins from 1988 to 2000 and again from 2006 to 2018, Iha significantly contributed to the band's sonic identity with his melodic lines and distinctive riffs.
