Taylor Hawkins and The Coattail Riders is a musical group formed in 2006 by the drummer of the Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins. Hawkins handles both drums and vocals within the trio, completed by Chris Chaney on bass and Gannin Arnold on guitar. Chaney and Hawkins had previously collaborated with Alanis Morissette in the support band 'Sexual Chocolate'. The sound of the Coattail Riders is a mix of rock, blues and country, influenced by Hawkins' musical experiences and his favorite artists like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones.
