Been in this cell block seven years too long
Paying for a crime when I didn't do anything wrong
Lyin' here rottin' for someone else's mistake
I've come to my senses, it's time to make a break
Breakout, I'm coming after you
Breakout, I'd say our love is overdue
Breakout, I'm at the breakin' point
Breakout, gonna bust of this joint
I'm sick and tired of punching out license plates
For a criminal justice system that I hate
The food here suck, I'm not about to wait
Well I've come to my senses It's time to make a break
Breakout, I'm coming after you
Breakout, I'd say our love is overdue
Breakout, I'm at the breakin' point
Breakout, gonna bust of this joint
Frehley's Comet is an American rock group formed in New York City in 1987. The project was spearheaded by Ace Frehley, guitarist and founding member of Kiss, who wanted to explore new musical directions after leaving the band. The sound of Frehley's Comet blends hard rock, glam rock and heavy metal with progressive influences. Their self-titled debut album in 1989 achieved commercial success thanks to the single "Rock Soldiers". The follow-up album, "Second Sighting" (1990), further solidified the band's popularity, while the live album "Live + 1" (1992) documented their live performances. Frehley's Comet collaborated with several notable musicians, including Anton Fig on drums and Tod Howarth on bass. The band disbanded in 1993 but experienced a revival in subsequent years with various reunion tours.
