Ugly Kid Joe is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in Isla Vista, California, in 1989. Their sound is characterized by a mix of groove metal, punk rock and grunge influences, with often ironic and sarcastic lyrics. The group achieved international success with the album "America's Least Wanted" (1992), which includes the singles "Everything About You" and "Cats in the Cradle", the latter a cover of Harry Chapin's song.
