Joe Dassin (Joseph Ira Dassin, 1938-1980) è stato un cantante e compositore statunitense naturalizzato francese. Considerato uno dei più grandi artisti della musica francese degli anni '60 e '70, Dassin ha conquistato il pubblico con la sua voce calda e le sue canzoni romantiche e orecchiabili. Super poliglotta, era in grado di esprimersi e cantare in inglese, francese, tedesco, spagnolo, italiano e greco.
