Holocaust è una band di heavy metal progressivo con sede ad Edimburgo, Scozia. Fondata nel 1977 mentre ancora frequentavano il liceo, la formazione originale (con i chitarristi John Mortimer ed Ed Dudley, il vocalist Gary Lettice, il bassista Robin Begg e il batterista Paul Collins) fece parte del movimento New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Dopo numerosi cambi di formazione a causa di contrasti interni, John Mortimer è rimasto l'unico membro fondatore di Holocaust dal disco "No Man's Land".
