Redgum è stato un gruppo folk e politico australiano formato ad Adelaide nel 1975 da John Schumann, cantante e compositore, Michael Atkinson (chitarra/vokal), Verity Truman (flauto/vokal) e Chris Timms (violino). I quattro erano studenti dell'Università di Flinders e hanno sviluppato un punto di vista appassionato e diretto.
