Els Pets are a Catalan pop rock band formed in Barcelona. The group is led by Lluís Gavaldà, singer, songwriter and guitarist from Constanti (Tarragona). The current lineup includes Joan Reig on drums, Falin Caceres on bass, Joan-Pau Chaves on keyboards, bass and backing vocals, David Muñoz on guitar and backing vocals, and Brad Jones on bass, guitar, keyboards and backing vocals. The band's name, in Catalan "Els Pets", literally means "The Farts". Their music is characterized by an energetic pop rock sound with punk and indie influences, often accompanied by ironic and reflective lyrics that address social and personal themes. Among their most representative songs are "El meu nom és", "No hi ha res" and "L'últim dia". Els Pets have released several successful albums, including "Els Pets" (1997), "La vida és un joc" (2000) and "Més enllà del cel" (2003).
