Tall Stories is a British musical group formed in the 1990s. Their debut came in 1991 with the self-titled album, which quickly brought them to prominence. At the microphone is Steve Augeri, already known for having replaced Steve Perry as lead singer of Journey after his departure from the band. Tall Stories' music primarily falls into the hard rock genre, with progressive and melodic influences. Despite their initial success, the group did not reach the same level of popularity as Journey. Among their most representative songs are "The Way It Is", "I'm Not Afraid" and "Hold On".
