Giovanni Scialpi, noto come Scialpi o Shalpy dal 2012, è un cantautore, attore e personaggio televisivo italiano. Nato a Roma nel 1963, ha raggiunto la popolarità negli anni '80 con il suo stile musicale che mescolava elementi di musica leggera italiana, rock e synthpop. Il suo brano più famoso, "Prendimi per mano", è diventato un tormentone estivo del 1987. Scialpi ha partecipato a diversi festival musicali, tra cui Sanremo, e ha collaborato con artisti come Eros Ramazzotti e Laura Pausini. Oltre alla musica, si è cimentato anche in ruoli teatrali e televisivi, dimostrando un'ampia versatilità artistica. Tra i suoi album più noti ricordiamo "Scialpi" (1987) e "La mia vita" (1989).
