City Boy was a British musical group active between the late 1970s and early 1980s. The group consisted of Lol Mason (vocals), Max Thomas (guitar) and Mike Slamer (bass). Known for their glam rock sound with pop influences, they released several albums including "City Boy" (1976), "Young Men Gone West/Book Early" (1977) and "Dinner at the Ritz" (1978). City Boy's most famous song is probably "Book Early", which reached the top 20 of the British charts in 1978.
