Romano, cantautore e musicista italiano, nasce a Palermo nel 1985. Dopo una lunga esperienza come bassista ed autore, decide di intraprendere un progetto solista. Si esibisce in giro per l'Italia e l'Europa, conquistando alcuni importanti riconoscimenti come il "Premio De André" nel 2016. Ha collaborato con la band Tamuna, con cui ha pubblicato due dischi e vinto il Premio della Critica e quello come "Migliore Interpretazione" al Premio Andrea Parodi. Ha inoltre vinto il Premio SIAE "Sergio Endrigo" con il cantautore Francesco Vannini, con cui ha pubblicato un EP. Nel 2019 inizia a lavorare al suo primo disco solista, prodotto esecutivamente da Lello Analfino (Tinturia) e artisticamente da Francesco Prestigiacomo. Nel 2021 pubblica "Coniugi Arnolfini", brano che, prendendo il titolo dal celebre dipinto di Van Eyck, narra l'emigrazione come intenso momento di crescita. Romano dipinge su una tela di note un racconto costellato di accurate descrizioni di oggetti, che abitano un appartamento ideale, un luogo immaginario, emblema di conciliazione e resilienza, ma anche di quotidiana normalità. Versatile e completo, Romano è uno tra i migliori esponenti della nuova scena cantautorale italiana.
