Arashi is a Japanese boy band formed under the Japanese talent agency Johnny and Associates in 1999 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Composed of five members: Ohno Satoshi, Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun, Arashi debuted with the self-titled single in 1999 under Pony Canyon. In 2001 they moved to J Storm, a subsidiary label of Johnny's. The group has achieved immense success in Japan, selling millions of records and winning numerous awards. Some of their most representative songs include "A Day in Our Life", "Love so sweet" and "Believe". Arashi is considered one of the most popular and influential music groups in contemporary Japan.
