Luti-Kriss was a Christian metalcore/nu metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1997. The band later evolved into Norma Jean, a noisecore/mathcore band. In 2002, four of the five original members, along with on and off again bassist Josh Doolittle, changed their name to Norma Jean. The change in musical direction and confusion with rapper Ludacris were the main reasons for this change. Luti-Kriss was active primarily between the 1990s and early 2000s, leaving a significant mark on the American metalcore scene.
