Superstition, disguised as faith
The Fear of death plagues their eyes
Automated animation, a fingerprint personality
Born of desperation,
So terrified that you just might dissappear when you die
And that there is no difference between right or wrong
Elimination of the modern nation
No need for the excess population
Twisted monuments of human decay
Old death to new beginnings
Remake the world in genocide
Everything they taught you is a lie
Would you die for this?
Fake and fractured, soulless and manufactured
Would you die for this?
Crossbred and numbered, we are cybertrash
Proclaimed by a thousand prophets
Believed by a million fools
Its an endless line of tragedies
What is faith but another word for superstition
On the ruins of the old
Free of the moral waste
Perfect and gleaming
In the light of the morning star
Would you die for my sins?
Or would you take my life and try to make it yours?
Prove me wrong, but I'll still see it my own way
Would you die for this?
Fake and fractured, soulless and manufactured
Would you die for this?
Crossbred and numbered, we are cybertrash
The Kovenant are a Norwegian musical group formed in 1993. Initially known for their symphonic black metal style, characterized by dark atmospheres and orchestral melodies, they later incorporated elements of industrial metal into their sound, creating a darker and more electronic aesthetic while retaining their black metal roots. The band changed their name from Covenant to The Kovenant in 1997 to avoid confusion with another Swedish group of the same name. Some of their most representative tracks include "The Gathering", "In Conspiracy with Satan" and "Blacken the Heavens". Their album "Animatronic" (2000) is considered one of their most influential works, marking a shift towards a more defined industrial metal sound.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
